Matrix have a wealth of experience providing detailed As Laid drawings for EHV projects from 25KV up to 400Kv servicing both Distribution and Transmission markets. These projects range from rehabilitation of existing networks, new infrastructure but also connections which include the renewable energy sector. Recent projects have included a new 132KV cable linking the Isle of Wight to mainland UK and various Windfarms both on and off shore. When producing As Laid drawings for EHV projects a full suite of drawings are produced. 

Route drawings include extensive cross sectional drawings showing all existing utility crossings and other obstructions. A trench section is produced showing the cover and configuration at every 5m interval. Detail and elevation drawings are produced showing Jointing and terminations arrangements. These include all the manufacturers’ equipment such as joints, structures, link boxes and terminations.
